AERTHEIX Insight Series · 2026

The problem rarely begins where it becomes visible.

Four reports follow one connected chain: how a weakened talent signal can shape investment, diagnosis and the intervention that follows.

A weak signal changes who is seen. An investment based on an incomplete reading may never become changed behaviour. When progress stalls, the organisation may ask the wrong question. Even an appropriate intervention can arrive before readiness is understood.

One argument, published in four parts

The sequence matters.

Each report begins where the previous report leaves an unresolved management question.

What appears to be a hiring problem, a learning problem, a performance problem or a coaching problem may be different stages of the same unresolved issue: what evidence do we have, and what does that evidence support?

The Wrong Question

Same CV, same job description, four times the difference A job description can define the work; it cannot explain why two people with similar experience may convert the same opportunity into very different performance.

The Readiness Gap

Coaching works, the dose doesn't, and the missing variable is upstream Before adding more coaching, an organisation may first need to understand whether the person and the surrounding conditions are ready to convert it into change.

How to read the series

Evidence first. Limits included.

The purpose of the series is not to turn a working question into a verdict.

Each report separates published evidence, interpretation and open questions. Material figures are attributed to their sources, and the limits of what those sources establish remain part of the reading.

Principle 01

Published evidence

Material figures are linked to an identifiable source and presented with the relevant denominator, time period and context where available.

Principle 02

Working interpretation

Connections drawn across sources are presented as analysis, not as conclusions made by the original sources.

Principle 03

Stated limits

Where the available evidence cannot support a causal, predictive or universal conclusion, the report says so.

How sources appear inside a report
  1. Every material figure in a report carries its source, denominator, time period and the limit of what it establishes. Those notes are collected at the foot of each report rather than interrupting the argument.
  2. A source block opens with one click, prints open by default, and is never placed behind a hover state, tooltip or modal.
  3. Where a figure is an AERTHEIX illustration rather than a published result, the report says so beside the figure, not only in the source note.

From question to method

A better intervention begins with a better reading.

The series identifies where familiar signals and interventions can lose explanatory power; VITALIS™ provides a structured way to examine what is happening in the work itself.

VITALIS™ helps managers record observed evidence, discuss it against a consistent structure, review what changed and refine what should happen next. It supports development and management conversations; it does not make employment decisions.
