The 2027 pathway moves through three levels: understanding the architecture, applying the evidence and scoring standard, and interpreting the complete report. Course completion is recognised at every level. Professional certification is earned separately through assessment.

Allows an organisation to use VS1 under an agreed licence. It does not replace practitioner certification or current calibration status.
The credential belongs to the practitioner. The system licence belongs to the organisation. Independent live use requires both.

T1 teaches practitioners to turn observed work into an evidence-based reading that another trained person can inspect.

Calibration
A written standard is the beginning.Agreement still has to be built.
There is no error-free gold standard for human judgement; calibration matters because it makes variation visible, discussable and correctable.
Any workplace diagnosis can vary with the observer, the evidence available and the conditions in which the work was seen. Written anchors reduce ambiguity, but they do not ensure that two experienced people will interpret the same instance in the same way.
In a controlled study of a mature structured-observation method used in clinical education, 52 faculty raters evaluating scripted encounters produced an inter-rater reliability result of .43 on the nine-point overall scale for a single encounter. More stable readings in that literature depend on repeated observations, multiple perspectives and calibrated raters—not on one form or one encounter.
VS1 therefore treats calibration as part of the operating method. Practitioners work against disputed cases, compare their reasoning with master-coded references and preserve the points of disagreement rather than resolving them invisibly.
What .43 does and does not mean
The .43 belongs to the cited study and method class. It is not a VITALIS™ result, target or pass mark. VS1 has no published inter-rater reliability result yet. AERTHEIX intends to report its own method, sample size and limitations—including if the result is lower than expected.

Calibration does not remove judgement. It gives judgement a standard against which disagreement can be examined.
The assessment
Attendance is notthe standard.
T1 and T2 certification is assessed separately through applied cases rather than attendance or recall alone.
Candidates work with unfamiliar case material. The assessment asks whether the evidence is sufficient to enter a level, which level the anchors support, whether the three axes have remained separate and where an observation condition is missing. Candidates must also state the limits of a reading and explain how they would handle disagreement.
The current pass standard is 75%. The assessment is untimed.

The credential does not expire.Active status is maintained.
Passing the assessment earns a lifetime professional credential; independent live operation additionally requires current calibration status.
The distinction is deliberate. A credential records the standard demonstrated through assessment. Active status shows that the practitioner's judgement remains aligned with the current operating standard.
Maintaining active status involves an annual declaration of practice, a calibration check on a three-year cycle and a sampling review in which selected practitioners submit one anonymised reading for review.
If a calibration check is not passed or remains outstanding, the professional certificate remains valid. Independent live-operation status pauses until calibration is restored.
T2 certification does not require the course or certification assessment to be repeated. Current T1 active status remains necessary whenever the practitioner operates the live system.

A private cohort can give managers a common evidence standard without requiring every participant to hold the same operating role.
Dates, cohort size, language, role examples and delivery format may be tailored. Capability-axis examples may also be aligned to the organisation and its industry without changing the fixed VITALIS™ architecture or assessment standard.
Every participant who completes the programme receives the applicable Certificate of Completion. A participant who has not yet certified may contribute observations, take part in calibration and prepare draft records for review. Entering scores and finalising an official reading requires the applicable certification, active status and organisational permission.
An unsuccessful certification result does not describe the participant as a poor manager. It means only that the standard for independent VITALIS™ operation or interpretation has not yet been demonstrated.

VS1 system access is arranged by an organisation under a separate licence; it is not included with a course and is not conferred by certification.
Attending a programme without taking a system licence is a normal outcome. Some practitioners want to understand the framework or hold the credential before their organisation is ready to deploy the tool.
Within a licensed organisation, an active T1 Certified Practitioner may enter, score and finalise readings within assigned permissions. A T2 Certified Interpreter may interpret complete reports and deeper analyses. The organisation determines access according to role and purpose.
Initial VS1 availability is planned for approximately Q2 2027. Licence, support and commercial terms are under final adjustment and will be released together before access opens.

No. Completing T0, T1 or T2 earns the applicable Certificate of Completion. T1 and T2 professional certification is earned through a separate assessment.
A T1 Certified Practitioner with current active status may enter evidence, score and finalise VS1 readings within an organisation holding the applicable licence and assigning the required permission.
A T2 Certified Interpreter may interpret complete reports and deeper analyses within the applicable organisational permissions. Current T1 active status remains necessary when operating the live system.
The professional credential does not expire. Independent live operation requires current active status, maintained through an annual practice declaration, a three-year calibration cycle and sampling review.
The result means that the standard for independent operation or interpretation has not yet been demonstrated. You retain the applicable Certificate of Completion, and reassessment is available. Complete terms will be published before enrolment opens.
It is not a judgement about the person's general management ability. The participant may continue to contribute observations and prepare draft records within assigned permissions, while certified practitioners remain responsible for official scoring and finalisation.
No. An organisation may develop internal T2 capability or request interpretation from AERTHEIX or an authorised interpreter.
No. VS1 access is licensed separately to the participating organisation. Certification establishes practitioner competence; the licence establishes where the system may be used.
